PermaCoat Exterior Wall Stucco System is an ideal exterior wall treatment for residential, commercial, institutional or industrial buildings. 
PermaCoat Exterior Wall Stucco System consist of a blend of Portland cement, sand, fibers and special chemicals which produce a very efficient stucco system. 

PermaCoat Exterior Wall Stucco System provides design flexibility, durability, water management, versatility as well as cost savings... and it can be finished in a variety of ways including premixed colored cement stucco finish coats, elastomeric coatings and paints.
Advantages
· Provides water management.
· Fiber reinforcement increases flexural and tensile strengths, providing crack resistance.
· Can be upgraded with reinforcing mesh.
· Polymer modified version of UNICOAT® to increase crack resistance, flexural strength and speed curing process.
· Provides much greater consistency in mix proportions than jobsite mixed basecoats.
· Ideal basecoat system for most Unicoat finishes.
· Impact resistant.
· Impervious to termites, rot and fungus.
· Increase workability for faster construction time.
· Available in concentrate or sanded versions.
· Lighter in weight than conventional scratch and brown systems.
· Single basecoat reduces installation labor costs.

· Fiber reinforcement increases flexural strength and tensile strength, thus, crack resistance.
· May be installed over EPS, gypsum sheathing, fiberboard, oriented strand board or plywood.  The systems are installed on exterior walls or wood or steel stud construction.
· 1 hour fire rated assemblies.
· Two forms designated as PermaCoat Fiber Reinforced Stucco Sanded and PermaCoat Fiber Reinforced Stucco Concentrate.
Approved Substrates
· Sound concrete and masonry.
· EPS.
· Weather-resistive barrier over gypsum sheathing, exterior grade plywood, OSB (wafer wood), or asphalt-impregnated sheathing.

· Unicoat Color Stucco 
· Unicoat Max Elastomeric
· Unicoat Plus Elastomeric 
Limitations
· Follow ICC evaluation report #5141 for proper lath, substrate and assemblies for this system
· Proper sand complying with ASTM C897 is critical to the performance of Unicoat One Coat Stucco.
· Use of control joints is recommended. These should be specified by the Architect on all architectural drawings and details.
· No other admixtures are allowed except those specifically recommended by Somar Industries.
· Apply only when ambient and surface temperatures will remain above 40°F for 48 hours following application.  Protect surfaces from uneven and excessive evaporation.  
· Proper moist curing is vitally important to the performance of the one coat stucco system.  
· Inadequately cured basecoats will be more susceptible to cracks, softness, and finish coat color problems.  Moist cure a  minimum of 48 hrs after application.
· Gap wood base sheathing 1/8” at all joints.
· Mixing instructions for PermaCoat One Coat are printed on each bag.  Additional recommendations are available form Somar Industries upon request.
· Water used for mixing must be potable and free from any deleterious materials.
· Protect from uneven and excessive drying during hot, dry, and windy weather conditions.
· Completed installation card must be presented to the building official after completion of work and before final inspection.
