Permacoat  720 Polymer Modified Stucco Base is a factory blended fiber reinforced; acrylic polymer modified hard coat that offers an alternative to conventional 3-coat and standard one-coat stucco base coats.  It applies quickly and provides an economical, impact resistant, highly durable exterior wall surface, by eliminating the need for wet curing.
 
Permacoat 720 Polymer Modified Stucco Base provides a shrinkage resistant surface at a significant savings in time and labor.
 
Approved Substrates
 
Permacoat 720 Polymer Modified Stucco Base can be applied to a variety of substrates which include, exterior gypsum sheathings, plywood, OSB, EPS or XEPS foam sheathings, masonry, cement boards, and conventional scratch coats.
Permacoat 720 Polymer Modified Stucco Base can be applied to lath a minimum of 1” 20 gauche Stucco netting, and or 1.75 self-furred metal lath.
 
Mixing and Application
 
Permacoat 720 Polymer Modified Stucco Base is mixed by adding 3.5 gallons of clean potable water to mixer, then add one 3.5 gallons of Permacoat Admix 721.
Add 18 number 2 square shovels of clean plaster sand meeting ASTM C-144.
Then add 2 each 80 lb. bags of Permacoat 720 Polymer Modified Stucco Base, let mix for several minutes, then add remaining 18 #2 square shovels of sand.  
Add water and sand to achieve desired consistency, but not to exceed a total of 40 #2 shovels of sand.
After mixing let stand for 2-3 minutes and re-mix, then remove from mixer.
 
 
Apply to approved substrate and lath at approximately 3/8” to ˝” thickness.
Level surface using a rod or darby, after surface has sufficiently hardened, prepare using a sponge, wood, or hard rubber float to fill voids and imperfections to leave ready for finish.
 
 
Curing 
 
Permacoat 720 Polymer Modified Stucco Base  needs no wet curing after application
It is recommended that the surface be moist cured at least once before application of finish coat.
 
Coverage
 
If mixed as per specifications, Permacoat 720 Polymer Modified Stucco Base will cover 8-10 sq. yds. per bag at 3/8” thickness.
Coverage will vary on different type substrates.
 
Limitations
 
Follow all ICC ER REPORT #5141 for proper lath, substrate, and assemblies for this system.
Proper sand is crucial to the performance of this product.
Permacoat Surface Primer 866 is required when applying an acrylic type finish.
 
Do not apply Permacoat 720 Polymer Modified Stucco Base in freezing conditions or in direct sunlight.
 
Warranties
 
Permacoat 720 Polymer Modified Stucco Base is warranted for a period of 10 years after date of application and when applied by a registered contractor and all ICC # 5141 specifications for mixing and application were met.
 
 
The sole warranty is replacement of material used to correct defective material; no other warranties are either expressed or implied.
