Text Box: Description   Unicoat Max Elastomeric Finish is a 100% Elastomeric acrylic stucco finish for exterior use on above grade walls and previously coated surfaces. This flexible finish can bridge most hairline cracks on stucco base coats. It can also be used over E.I.F.S. base coats, stucco, concrete surfaces, and all Unicoat base coats. Unicoat Max Elastomeric Finish comes in medium, coarse sand, and medium rilled textures.   Approved Substrates   Unicoat Max Elastomeric Finish can be applied over new and old stucco, concrete and masonry surfaces, painted surfaces (flat finish), and all one-coat and three coat base coats. When applying over new stucco and concrete surfaces, it is always recommended that walls be cured out completely and a coat of Unicoat Surface Primer 865 be applied. Make sure surfaces are clean before applying finish.   Mixing and Application   Unicoat Max Elastomeric Finish should be mixed in its own container using a low rpm drill mixer to ensure color uniformity and minimize air entrapment. Do not dilute this product with more than one pint of clean water. Apply in one coat at approximately 1/8” thickness over substrate.   Unicoat Max Elastomeric Finish  can be applied by hand trowel application only. Spray application is possible in sand finish texture only, please consult manufacturer for proper procedure. It is highly recommended that a professional plastering applicator apply this product.     Dry Time and Shelf Life   Unicoat Max Elastomeric Finish should be stored in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight and protected from extreme heat and freezing conditions. Always keep container closed when not in use. product has a shelf life of 12 months when these directions are followed.   Coverage   Unicoat Max Elastomeric Finish covers approximately 100-120 sq ft per pail, depending on porosity of surface and texture. Dying time is 4 hours at 70° f if applied as per specifications.  Protect from freeze or rain for 24hrs.   Limitations   Unicoat Max Elastomeric Finish must be applied to a clean surface free from all foreign matter, efflorescence, oil, dirt, and any other bond inhibiting materials. Do not use this product in extreme heat and in freezing conditions. Painted surfaces should be at least several months old. All loose paint should be re moved.   Warranties   Unicoat Max Elastomeric Finish can be warranted for up to 10 years when applied by a certified applicator and all specifications were met.   The sole warranty is replacement of materials used to correct defective materials; no other warranties are either expressed or implied. This product will bridge hairline cracks in most stucco walls but is not a crack proof product. There is no warranty against cracks breaking through finish.   Somar Industries, LTD 264 N.
