Text Box: Description   Unicoat Stucco Finish is a pre-blended dry mixture of cement, sand, iron oxide pigments and cement modifiers, to create an exceptional colorfast cement based stucco finish.   Unicoat Stucco Finish needs the addition of water only. Unicoat Stucco Finish can be mixed with Unicoat Admixture 2000 to increase bonding properties, flexural strengths ad speed curing process.   Unicoat Stucco Finish is designed to be applied over One Coat, Three Coat stucco base coats and properly prepared masonry and concrete surfaces.  It can also be used to re-stucco over existing cement stucco finishes.   Approved Substrates   Unicoat Stucco Finish may be applied to a variety of substrates which include: one-coat and three coat stucco base coats, old stucco plus concrete and masonry surfaces; with the application of Unicoat Super Bond 1000, Unicoat Stucco Finish may be applied to achieve countless textures and designs.   Mixing and Application   Unicoat Stucco Finish is mixed by adding 2 ¼ gallons of clean potable water into mixer, then add 1 bag of Unicoat Stucco Finish into mixer. Let mix for several minutes and add water as needed for desired working consistency. After 4 to 5 minutes of mixing stop, let product stand for 2 to 3 minutes, then re-mix for 1 to 2 minutes and removed form mixer. Apply Unicoat Stucco Finish at approximately ⅛” minimum to 3/16” maximum thickness over basecoat or masonry surface.      For sand float finish, begin floating surface with a green or red float immediately after applying stucco. For skip troweled textures apply thin coat over surface and let dry to where surface is still somewhat damp, apply texture.   Curing   Proper moist curing of Unicoat Stucco Finish for 48 hours is required.   Sealers should not be applied for at least 7 to 12 days after application.   The addition of 1qt. Of Unicoat Admixture 2000 per bag, will eliminate the need for wet curing.   Coverage   Coverage of 70 to 90sq.ft at ⅛” to 3/16” thickness per bag will be achieved when mixed and applied as per specifications.   Limitations   Follow mixing and application directions for best results.  Follow recommendations by base coat manufacturer for proper applications of finishes.  Proper curing is very important to the overall integrity of the system.   Warranties   Unicoat Stucco Finish can be warranted for up to 3 years when applied by a certified applicator and all requirements are fulfilled.   The sole warranty is replacement of materials used to correct defective materials; no other warranties are either expressed or implied.   Somar Industries, LTD 264 N.
