Unicoat Three Coat Exterior Wall Stucco System is an ideal exterior wall treatment for residential, commercial, institutional or industrial buildings. 
 
Unicoat Three Coat Exterior Wall Stucco System is a pre-blended dry mixture of cement, fibers and cement modifiers to create a fiber reinforced conventional stucco base.

Unicoat Three Coat t Exterior Wall Stucco System provides design flexibility, durability, water management and versatility.
It can be finished in a variety of ways including premixed colored cement stucco finish coats, elastomeric coatings and paints.
 
Advantages
 
· Provides water management.
· Fiber reinforcement increases flexural and tensile strengths, providing increase crack resistance.
· Can be upgraded with reinforcing mesh.
· Provides much greater consistency in mix proportions than jobsite mixed basecoats.
· Ideal basecoat system for most of Unicoat ® Finishes.
· Extremely Impact Resistance.
· Impervious to termites, rot and fungus.
· Two forms designated as Unicoat Three Coat Fiber Reinforced Stucco Sanded and Unicoat Three Coat Fiber Reinforced Stucco Concentrate.
· Great workability for faster application time.
· May be modified with Unicoat 2000 to increase crack resistance and flexural strengths and speed curing process.

· Exterior Gypsum Sheathing.
· Plywood.
· OSB Board.
· Expanded and Extruded Polystyrene.
· Cement Boards.
· All types of masonry surfaces.
· Open frame construction as per UBC code requirements.

Notes and Limitations
 
· Follow UBC or ICC requirements  for proper lath, substrate and assemblies for this system
· Proper sand complying with ASTM C897 is critical to the performance of Unicoat Three Coat Stucco.
· Use of control joints is recommended. These should be specified by the Architect on all architectural drawings and details.
· No other admixtures are allowed except those specifically recommended by Somar Industries.
· Apply only when ambient and surface temperatures will remain above 40°F for 48 hours following application.  Protect surfaces from uneven and excessive evaporation.  
· Proper moist curing is very important to the overall integrity of the Three Coat stucco system.  
· Inadequately cured basecoats will be more susceptible to cracks, softness, and finish coat color problems.  Moist cure a  minimum of 48 hrs after application.
· Gap wood base sheathing 1/8” at all joints.
· Mixing instructions for Unicoat Three Coat are printed on each bag.  Additional recommendations are available from Somar Industries upon request.
· Water used for mixing must be potable and free from any deleterious materials.
· Protect from uneven and excessive drying during hot, dry, and windy weather conditions.
