Text Box:   Unicoat Stucco Systems Warranties and their criteria’s       Thank you for your interest in Unicoat Stucco Systems Fiber Reinforced stucco systems. We at Somar Industries LTD. are very proud of our product and we show it by offering several different warranty programs with our Unicoat products. The following list shows the different warranties and the steps needed to obtain these warranties for your particular project.     Basic 1-Year Warranty: This warranty is automatic with the purchase of our product; it is for material defect and is for replacement of material only. The product does not have to be applied by a certified applicator but must have been mixed and applied by our specifications and or ICC report.   3-Year Warranty: This Warranty is automatic for our Certified Applicator contractors that have been issued an Approved Applicator Certificate and are registered in our system. This warranty is a materials only warranty and is for replacement of defective product. No inspections have to be conducted on job site but all specifications and or ICC requirements must be met. Proof of purchase of products for that project is recommended for contractor to keep for record.   5-Year Warranty: This Warranty is issued when requested by a Certified Applicator for a project where the following steps have been taken. A certificate for sand being used meeting ASTM C-144 must be submitted. A list of lath materials being used must be submitted and our Extended Warranty Form must be filled out and signed. This Warranty covers materials only for a period of 5 years.   10-Year Warranty: This Warranty is issued when requested by a Certified Applicator where all the steps for the 5-Year warranty have been taken with the addition of a Somar Industries LTD. representative making required inspections of project. An inspection of the project must be made during Lath application, beginning of Unicoat application and random inspections will follow during course of project. A written Warranty will be issued to the Owner of the project at the completion and final inspection of project. This Warranty covers materials only for a period of 10 years.   All warranty’s are for materials only and for replacement of those materials. Somar Industries LTD. makes no other warranties either expressed or implied.
